Police seek suspect in jewelry store theft - HometownAnnapolis.com Posted: PAROLE — County police are looking for a man who allegedly stole jewelry from a Westfield Annapolis mall store Saturday. Police said the man walked into Liljenquist and Beckstead at 7:30 p.m. Saturday and asked to see some jewelry. When jewelry was handed to him, he turned and fled. Police were able to obtain a surveillance camera photo of the suspect, shown above, who is about 30 and has a tattoo on his right wrist. He was wearing a navy blue polo long-sleeve pullover shirt and navy blue pants when he was in the store. He also wore a blue cap. Two days later, two men robbed the same store at gunpoint, police said. Both were wearing New York Yankees caps and backpacks. Police do not know if the two crimes are related but are investigating the possibility, a spokesman said this morning. Anyone with information on the suspect is urged to call Southern District headquarters at 410-222-1960.
