Scrapbook Paper Wedding Luminaries - Associated Content

Elegant touches at a wedding are what turns an ordinary event into a spectacular, memorable occasion. When the word "elegant" comes into play it implies that things are going to be expensive. That's not
necessarily true. Expensive isn't always synonymous with elegant. Some decorations and party favors are very inexpensive but don't appear to be cheap. That's just what you're aiming for when you want a spectacular wedding for a fraction of the cost.

You can't get much cheaper than scrapbook paper. That's especially true when you're considering wedding décor. If you can decorate all the reception tables for only a few bucks you've instantly saved a small fortune. Don't worry that cheap scrapbook paper won't make for impressive table décor; it definitely will!

It seems that gold and silver automatically look costly - whether you're talking about jewelry or simple scrapbook paper. The shiny, metallic colors help you instantly create a gorgeous look for the reception tables. However, most any color and style of scrapbook paper can be used to make table luminaries.

Browse through scrapbook paper at your local craft store and choose wedding themes or other colors and patterns. After you have the papers you want it will take only a couple of minutes to make each luminary. Choose a candle in a glass container and use the scrapbook paper to make a wrap for the candle. The best look is a tall, cylindrical-type container of glass but you can use shorter versions, too. Simply cut each paper to be a couple of inches taller than the glass container. Fold it like a fan, wrap it around the candle, then tape the ends to secure.
