'They took all my fine jewelry - pieces with platinum, gold and sapphires,' Amit Sharma says.

Safecracking burglars cleaned out a Tribeca jeweler in a $500,000 weekend heist that could ruin the holiday selling season forthe mom-and-pop shop, cops and the owners said.

NYPD detectives and forensics experts combed Nirvana International on West Broadway on Monday for clues left behind by the skilled, acrobatic thieves.

"They took all my fine jewelry - pieces with platinum, gold and sapphires," owner Amit Sharma, 38, said, adding that the bandits struck sometime after he closed up about 8 p.m. on Saturday night.

Cops said the burglars scaled scaffolding attached to the building that houses the ground-floor shop, which Sharma and his wife opened in July.

They smashed through a third-floor window to get into the building, then cut through the floor on the second level and dropped down into the store, cops said.

"They had tools with them that helped them to take the whole door apart from the safe," Sharma said, estimating his losses at nearly $500,000.

"The timing is terrible," added his wife, Ekta Sharma, stunned by their bad luck. "We put everything we have into the business and we were really banking on the holiday season for things to pick up."

She believes that their plans to host a holiday open house at the store on Thursday may have tipped the burglars off to a possible score.

Although none of the store's artworks were taken, Ekta Sharma said they will have to cancel the open house because there's no jewelry to offer.

"We have nothing to show," she said.

The store is across the street from the popular Tribeca Tavern, so the crestfallen couple hope a patron spotted the culprits.

Cops ask anyone with information about the heist to call the NYPD's confidential Crime Stoppers tipline at (800) 577-TIPS.
