The Houston Wedding Showcase took place at the George R. Brown Convention Center on Saturday, August 28, 2010. The Houston Wedding Showcase has helped to bring engaged couples face-to-face with the Houston's leading wedding professionals. As another wedding season begins, thousands of brides-to-be registered to attend the showcase that is dedicated to providing its attendees with the best products and services that local bridal companies have to offer. Representatives were on hand to unveil the newest & the latest styles and trends - everything from invitations to spa services, photographers to styling services.

On the runway, brides and their guests got close up views of the latest in wedding attire during the stimulating fashion shows. Various designer gowns were featured, paired with tuxedos, flowers, jewelry, shoes, and the latest in hair styles for all types of brides. Local bakeries were on hand to let guests taste test the creative confections of trendy wedding cakes and desserts. Sometimes planning the perfect wedding reception is all about seeing one—and we don't necessarily mean by being a member of the bridal party. If you've attended your fair share of bridal expos and events, you know it can be overwhelming.

As I was visiting each specialty booth, I noticed a crowd of spectators admiring a particular vendor. The vendor was The Party Architects Floral and Event Design Company. The color scheme included a bold fuchsia hue, vibrate orange and stark white pipe and drape cascading into the shape of a mod lounge. The dynamic floral and bouquet designs, not to mention the glass balls that seemed to float in the background like champagne bubbles, kept spectators in amazement. You were able to view just how perfect and stylish your wedding can be. This firm's creative juice shined through with the latest couture invitations, lavish centerpieces, lighting design, linens, wedding stationary and unique favors. You could not help but be inspired. Brides were left with endless possibilities and inspirations, helping them decide on the details for their own receptions.

Happy Planning!
