| Clifton Park couple wins dream wedding - WRGB Posted: 10 Sep 2010 01:16 PM PDT SCOTIA -- A Clifton Park couple has won the grand prize wedding reception in the Luxury for Less Dream Date Wedding Contest, part of a contest held by www.dreamdateweddings.com. Matt Streifert and Alana Sangiacomo will get an all-expenses paid wedding reception for 100 people at Glen Sanders Manasion and a set of wedding bands from Northeastern Fine Jewelry when they get married. Streifert is a music teacher and Sangiacomo is a social worker. "The pair shares a love of musical theater and met while performing in a local stage production," according to a press release announcing the contest winners. "The couple's deram wedding includes personal touches, such as a friend serving as the officiant and another making the cake, and plan to incorporate their love of music into the reception with karaoke for their guests," said the press release. The month-long contest was held to promote the launch of DreamDateWeddings.com, which offers wedding packages at a discount on select dates at Mazzone-owned and -operated venues. Four other couples were in the final running for the grand prize package, which was awarded based on public voting. The first runners-up, Kayla Kozlowski and Mark Weinkiper, of Amsterdam, will receive a free wedding rehearsal dinner from Mazzone Management Group and a gift card from Northeastern Fine Jewelry.
